Odd, yet intriguing list. I like it. It's hard to picture Lewis without a start-of-North-America moustache, though.

I highly doubt the Joker will be coming back. Ledger's performance will be almost impossible to top. If we do see him, I hope it's brief like the Scarecrow.

I like the castings for Shannon as cat woman and Johnny Depp as the riddler...I think Depp would do a wonderful job.

I'm going to be incredibly upset if they cast Angelina Jolie as catwoman. She's hot, but the bitch can't act.

Although I don't necessarily feel she's right for that role, I disagree here.

The bitch isn't an Academy Award winning actress for no reason. ;x

Eh, well then I disagree with the academy awards. I've never once seen her in a role that I've thought she was even slightly above average.

I must admit, the Oscars are a massive circle jerk for people who ironically enough, really have no taste in films.

But, I wouldn't go so far as to say Angelina's simply average.

I've seen about half of her movies, and most of her more famous ones, but I've never seen what the big deal about her was. Although I will admit that her non-action roles are infinitely better than her action roles.

Her being in the new batman would almost totally ruin the movie for me.

First off I agree with Charlie. I think her best movie by far still is Girl Interrupted.

Anyways. I felt the need to post this.

The Dark Knight is by far the best Batman movie ever made. Heath was freakin phenominal. Gotta love that pencil trick too, I can't believe som people are actually wanting Maggie Gyllenhaul to be Catwoman, sorry but you can't do that. I think they should do the riddler as the next villain if whats his name signs on to be the director again.

I finally watched this.

I wasn't really a fan of the movie, tbh. I think it was the voice change in Batmans character that made it seem a little cheesy. It was nothing that was mind blowing or anything like that, BUT Ledgers performance was A-MAZ-ING.

Well worth the 2.5 hours to just see him perform.

If you can't afford to go see it or to buffer the movie, Matt can re-enact it for you haha.

I never did mind Bale's grunt when he's in the gear. Bruce Wayne's a very high profile person. There's a line in Begins that deals with having to go three thousand miles just to find someone who doesn't know his name. The mask extends beyond the cowl, accordingly.

On a related subject, I've figured out why Batman's mouth is always open. (As I previously alluded,) No airholes for his nose.
Mmm, design flaw.

Well I haven't been on in awhile but I saw it with Dave opening weekend and a few times after including in IMAX. What a great movie!! I won't go on about it because it has already been done by countless others. Let me just say that this is the 2nd movie ever to gross over $500 billion! That's right. $500 billion! Will it pass Titanic? We'll see.

The Dark Knight isnt anywheres close to Titanic if you think about it. I dont see TDK beating Titanic's record. Even if if it does it's only cause of the price of the tickets going up. I dont see TDK beating Titanic's record which in the end Titanic sold a shit load of more tickets.

In order to break the record number of tickets sold, TDK would have to gross over $900 million which of course it won't.

They're supposed to be rereleasing it before it hits DVD.
So, considering it's...what? Over 500, now? Let's check.

Mm, even better.
Domestic: $505,954,123.
Foreign: $417,000,000.
Total: $922,954,123.

Even just looking at domestic, it's almost hit the Titanic mark, and it still hasn't left theaters from the initial run, yet. Add on the return, and it'll do it.
Maybe not the 900, but... technically, when we look at inflation versus the overall fall in box office sales (impacted both by downloading AND the rising costs of tickets/food), the factors even out.

I kind of forgot about the downloading aspect when I made my statement.

I saw the movie the night before it was actually out in iMax due to my boyfriend's mom working at the iMax theater and they had a special premier or whatever going on.
And then went and actually paid to see it again because I enjoyed it so much.
