I almost peed myself watching the trailor online. Heath Ledger honestly creeps me out as the Joker. My bf is like a huge Batman fan, too, and thinks he'll do a great job in the role.

Wow. Old thread...
But, there are no current new ones that I saw.
So, yea... This movie comes out in a matter of days.
Does anyone else get insanely awesome chills sent down their spine everytime they see a preview, or is it just me?
I don't think I've been so anxiously awaiting a movie as I have with this one.
It just looks to be so perfect in every way.
...And not just for the late Heath Ledger's oh-so-amazing portrayal of the Joker.
Overall; the film... the cast... the directing... the action... the effects.
The trailers have been leaving me in awe.
Lets not forget the music! Hans Zimmer's score in the previews is what helps increase the excitement.
Anyway, to continue... I spent all of yesterday (off from work), doing what I do, and tracking down the cast of the film.
"The Dark Knight" had it's worldwide premiere, at Lincoln Center's IMAX theatre, here in NYC.
Between the premiere, the after-party, and the hotels... I was fortunate enough to meet cast members;
Christian Bale, Gary Oldman, Aaron Eckhart, Maggie Gyllenhaal & Michael Caine.
(Morgan Freeman was the only douchebag)
The movie comes out Friday. It's already being hailed as selling the most advanced tickets ever.
I tried to buy tickets for opening day at the very IMAX theatre, the premiere was held at, like 2 weeks ago.
I failed. The entire fuckin' weekend for that IMAX theatre was already sold out. =[
2 weeks in advance!!! wtfux.
I settled to buying tickets to see it on Friday at a regular theatre. I'll hit up the IMAX for round 2.
And for those who have IMAX theatres near you, try to check it out. It will heighten your experience. This film also actually used special IMAX cameras to film a few key scenes of the film.
Word.
K, I'm done being geeky. Until I review the movie after Friday anyway, lol.

Batman is one of my favourite comic characters. I've always had a weak spot comic-based movies such as this one.
I think that Christian Bale has done a way better job on Batman adaptation than any other actor. George Clooney was good but Bale is totally overwhelming. Val Kilmer ... well, he doesn't cut it. I think that Batman Begins and The Dark Knight, whenever I watch this, are brilliant.

I'll make sure to jerk it before I go, that way I won't get a boner during the actual showing.
