!!!!!!>>>> NOT AN IPOD. <<<<!!!!!!

2-4 gigs, don't need video capabilities, something easy to use because I'm a dumbass, under $150, graphical menus, lasts a long time or at least has a 2 year warrantee.

I've been using an IPAQ for years now with a compact flash hard drive for music, long before the Ipod came out. Happy with that. Use it to run GPS software when I drive as well as play movies for folks when driving long distances. Not to mention the Microsoft Office applications as well as NES emulator I'm a fan of versatility.

I have no problems with my iPod. It holds a shit-ton of music, movies, etc etc.

It's never given me any trouble.

I was annoyed with Apple early on for IPods due to the fact the first run models didn't have replaceable batteries, and all batteries degrade over time. Folks were spending a lot of money on these units to have them die in a year. One of my friends bought one despite my warnings. See my 'asking questions not listening to answers' rants, lol.

I have a few friends like that.
