roommates

how many of you live with a roommate? if you do, what bugs you the most about some of their habits or just something that they do (or don't do) in general?

i hate that my roommate never takes her shit out of the washer and dryer. it will stay there for days and start to smell the laundry room and then she'll just re-wash everything again. and on top of that, she puts so much damn clothes in that you can hear the poor washing machine struggling to wash her damn clothes. i've had to wash my clothes at my parents house countless times because she never leaves the washer/dryer vacant.

she never does the dishes. and i wont wash her dishes for her, but when i need to use a bowl or something, it has so much crusty crud on it that it's not even washable. i have to soak it for awhile. and when she DOES do the dishes, she doesn't clean them very well. i always find a bunch of crusties on the silverware. ugh.

other than that, she isn't a very dirty person at all. our house is pretty clean, except our laundry room and our dishes.

if you don't have a roommate, and still live with your family... what bugs you? HUH!?

I haven't lived with roommates for awhile.
The first time that I moved out I lived with one other girl, and she was too uptight to live with, so I moved in with 5 guys, and it was unbelievably much more enjoyable. The only thing that really bugged me about them was when they'd let their "girlfriends" slash one night stands use my stuff (hairbrush, deodorant, etc..) when they stayed over. Other than that, it was nice.

Both of my roomates hardly ever clean. I'm constantly cleaning..which I really don't mind because I find it therapeutic at times..but they could make my job a little easier...we have a dishwasher..all you have to do is load it.
And when they leave the door open..they both do it. I fucking hate flies fjdkl;safjkdsa. I end up having to go on killing sprees every like 3 days because they can't manage to fucking close a door.

I hate cleaning up after people as well..but after I'm done I feel so much better because it's clean..that I usually forget. Plus if I'm high I clean like a freak..so it's not too bad.

When my roommates left their shit in the laundry machines, I just tossed it on the floor. They never said one thing about it.

As for the dishes, at one point I lived with 3 slobs who never did anything. I took all their dishes threw it in a box, tossed it on their beds. And when they confronted me I told them they were putting my life at risk due to the mold growing on their dishes and I could have them kicked out.


As for the current roommate, he is never here, ever. It's great, it's like I live on my own. I cant handle 3 other guys anymore, so I stick to one.

I have never lived with roommates or anything.
I still live with my parents.
My mom and I get along JUST fine, but my dad can't seem to his the hamper. That irritates me. And he just can't pick up after himself. He leaves his robe and shirts and what not laying around.
Not saying the house has to be SPOTLESS, but just pick up after yourself.

We have forced roommates here...but he's an OK roomie. Kinda wierd but OK. Besides playing the fucking annoying military "motivational" music. That shit is getting old fast. But he cleans and mostly stays to himself so it's good for the most part.

Eh..gotcha. Maybe leave her a note when you're not there...lol. Some people are hard to confront..I had to do that with my old roomates about their dog because they weren't doing anything right with it..they let it pee all over our house..and never cleaned it up..they put a muzzle on him..and would lock him up for an extremely long time.

he:

-is loud

I live in a 1 bedroom apartment with 2 dogs, so my apartment doesn't really get messy, unless I'm in a rush and don't get the chance to make my bed or my dogs decide to pee or poop somewhere. Usually they're good about it and will go on the kitchen floor or the bathroom floor cause its tiled, if I'm gone for long periods of time. Occasionally my girlfriend will stay with me but she's a neat freak.
