Black metal kids who "worship the devil".

Hello?! Devil is just an antithesis of God when you're not referring to a specific religion. Which devil do you worship?

It's just plain stupid. I think they do this just to piss the religious folks off. You deserve to be crucified on a red-hot metallic cross.

I don't worship any devil. As far as my own religious choices, I'm not the typical Christian/Catholic kid who wanted to freak out his parents by following an alternative religion. I was raised early-on with the idea that Christianity was a corrupt "desert religion." Unfortunately, my dad couldn't stick to his guns and now he's really religious...probably since he's getting old and afraid of going to hell.

FYI, very few black metal artists/fans do. Most are Odal, militant athiests, or just don't give a damn about religion. Those who ARE "satanists" worship themselves and "satan" is just a metaphor for their primal desires. Satanism as presented in black metal is a bunch of theatrics and symbolism, but succeeds in freaking people out.
