You can replicate the sky with a home experiment. Kinda cool- I did it for my nephew.

Add just a little milk to a large clear bowl, like a punchbowl full of water. Shut off the lights and hold a flashlight shining down through the bowl and it will look blue when viewed from the side. Now shine the light through the bowl towards yourself or someone else. Now it's orange and red like a sunset.

The reason for this is particulate matter and water vapor in the atmosphere. Blue light is the weakest of the spectrum It hits these particles and reflects back showing us the blue light. A little milk in clear water replicates this particulate matter and vapor.

When the sun sets and is shining along a direct, long line of the earth's atmosphere? The blue light is getting filtered out by the particles before it reaches our eyes, so we only see the reds and yellows.

Past six months? Probably worse.

I haven't been working as hard as I used to because I achieved my major goal for the past four years of getting into college. I kind of kicked back and let life pass by all relaxed like.

And then the past three months (summer) was just me being a total bum - always going out, coming in late, not really doing anything productive honestly. I haven't practiced cello since god knows when and I don't especially feel too horrible about it.

Thankfully school's starting up again - hopefully I'll be able to integrate myself into being a hardworking student/person again.

I guess I was taking a break, but I'd like to break myself away from the break ;p

How do you feel about 18 being the legal drinking age? Sexcellent, seeing as how I'll be 18 in a few months and 21 in a few years.

Would you take a bullet for a stranger? Maybe - it totally depends on the situation. I'd rather not have to think about details atm.

Someone drops a fifty dollar bill out of their pocket and continues to walk, do you return it or keep it? Return, definitely. I find that it's much more rewarding to be honest about that kind of stuff.

Why do so many people lack common sense? Common sense is something one lacks only if situations aren't thoroughly balanced. It's not something one magically garners from their parents or friends - it's all about how much effort one puts into living and thinking, that's all.
