When I lie down a certain way, I think I pinch a nerve that makes me not see with my left eye.

This is the second time. Rather frightening.

This is "not seeing," not as in blackness, but as in a blotchy area that resembles TV static except with more colours.

The same sort of "not seeing" happened when I was 11 or so when I tripped in the woods and hit my head on a log. For 2-3 days, it was the same static-looking stuff except in both my eyes and I could only see clearly in a small dot in the middle.

i think i've experienced that too.. while laying down. and it's always in one eye, never in both. it's so strange.

this belongs in health and fitness.

yeah. only while laying down. on my sides, with my head resting on my hand. i usually lay this way when i'm reading.

Never happens to me . Though my vision gets super blurry sometimes to the point were I can not see .

Go to a doctor, you could have a blocked blood vessel in your brain, inhibiting neural connectors that respond to light.
