As far as ice cream toppings go, only hot fudge rivals it for the greatest ever.

That pic of him stepping on the US Flag might be an indicator that he still hates the United States. In his case, I don't think he has changed. His wife and him said they would do the same thing if they had to.

Reality check for your Mister. There are a lot of americans that dislike their country, and not because of its history, people, even culture, but because of its government. It's selfish, greedy, eye for an eye attitude like government. I would say he's willing to go up against his own government, which is the problem with most americans. They're too afraid to stand up and demand. They'd rather just live with what they're given. They'd rather live their life and ignore everything that happens around them, because it may not affect them directly.

More power to him and his wife if they choose to deify their government, which I"m willing to bet doesn't care too much for them. Obviously if it's for the right cause. I"m not saying I'm supporting any type of terrorism, but if it's to voice your opinion on something positive that will help america and the american people as a whole, then good luck to them if they decide to start a revolution for it.

here is a reality check for you. if you dislike the government of the USA, you don't have to step on the flag. the flag, as a rule for all countries, represents it's people. when you step on a flag in public as asshole has done for his book, you step on america in the eyes of many people.

what makes this moron think he is so special? what programs would he implement to make the world a better place? if he was in office he might make a bigger mess than the one we are already in! did you ever think of that?

the national rifle association stands up to the government all of the time. it was the NRA that filed DC vs. Heller!!! many people go to the supreme court on a daily basis to challenge the government professionally without stepping on the flag. people who step on the flag to make a point are assholes.

his behavior for a professor is despicable. he is no revolutionary. he is a criminal.

I forgot to ask about your name. Does that have to do with the year America became free, or the year you burst forth from the placenta?
Anyways, he's not claiming to be a radical, just a professor. However, you're dredging this up because you wanna try to have a point. Okay; your original point was that Obama associates with him? Cool. John McCain associates with Keating, and yet he says he's committed to lowering taxes and helping out the little guy. He's not. We could go on and on about who both candidates have hung out with, but we won't. He (Ayers) is merely exercising his First Amendment rights, and so are you. You may not agree with his way of doing so, but I'm sure he thinks you're a bigger douche than he was. Now please let this die.

Making a bigger mess than he who is in office right now?

Uhm... Fuck off. Look, I hate Grandpa as much as the rest of you, and I'll just throw it out there that I voted for Obama, but there has to be some sensibility here. Blowing shit up is pretty much as far against being right as you can get. I'm not ignorant to the value of freedom of speech, and even though I disagree with it, I won't chastise the man for walking on our flag. Whatever, if that's what he does, fuck him. Blowing shit up is pretty wrong though, and if it were within the statuate of limitations for him to be tried he should be.
I want to say more, but fuck it. People on both sides of these issues are closed minded and won't really give much thought to what is being said, and that is exactly why Grandpa Ghost chooses topics like these. Fuck him.

no fuck you. you write like you have a second grade education. you don't make much sense buddy.

voting for obama is not voting for change asshole. voting for obama basically puts Daley into the white house. obama is a daley spawn, nothing more. obama is just a new face on daley.

get a grip and learn how to express yourself.

Wow, you're finally right about something, my prose does suck. In fact, it sucked so much that I dropped out of the Scripps School of Journalism to become a solider after my cousin died in Tikrit.
You're proud to wave our beautiful flag are you? Wow, so am I! In fact I wave it everyday all day on my right shoulder! Now I wouldn't dare stand on it, but I must admit, there was this one time while we were burning out canals that my buddy tossed a big can of sunshine too close to me and my uniform caught on fire. Sadly my flag melted off. I guess I'm a bad American too!
Shit, while I'm at it maybe I should apollogize for all the taxpayers money we lost when our trucks to anti-tank mines? We lost 54 in less than a month, so I'm pretty sure that we're shitty Americans for blowing all our money like that.
I think that money would have been MUCH better spent on bringing great Americans like yourself over here to make sure we quit fucking up because obviously you have a better grasp on the war than I do. Maybe we could ask some of the other guys who have gotten to play in this paradise? Joeseph? Any thoughts? How about you Jak?
Kick rocks asshole, any change is good. I love my country, I will defend my government, and I will protect whatever rights are given in our Constitution. However that does not mean I want to spend the rest of my life over here. I'm more interested in America fixing America. I'd rather spend our money in a domestic manner, such as public education. Since you graduated in the 30's you may not know, but public education is a joke. Health care? Social Security? Hey, fuck em, that shits for poor people anyhow.
Finally, never refer to me as buddy again. I would never be your buddy. Hell, I wouldn't even sit on the same bus as you. People like you make the average American seem ignorant because you're loud and drown out the quiet voice of the majority. Choke on a dick and die Grandpa, no need to embarass us anymore.

This.

This is why I can't stand this place for very long anymore. None of you can debate a topic without resorting to ad hominem personal attacks, red herrings, and straw man tactics. If you want to debate the issue, stick to the issue. If you want to call each other names, and worry about who's the bigger doodyhead, then I strongly suggest a return trip to the third grade.

The topic alone is misleading when compared to the content of the first post. If we're here to talk about Ayers, let's talk about Ayers, k? Wonderful. I fail to see why Obama's name is in the header, and I fail to see why Harry is getting so pissed off. Oh wait, that's just how the old goat rolls. Anyone that's been here long enough to hear about his mutant speeches or anything else he posts knows that the man can't take a counterpoint that thoroughly destroys his logic without ignoring it and instead resorting to personal attacks. Shame on all of you for not rising above the insults and debating the issue.

This is a controversial topic, and people are liable to feel strongly one way or another. That doesn't justify the crap I had to muddle through even one bit. You guys are adults, or young people transitioning into adulthood. I shouldn't have to remind you to show at least a modicum of maturity. Please get back on the topic, and please try to make this a good, quality debate instead of the typical shit storms I see on this site. I know you guys can do it. At least, I hope you can. Shame on all of you.

Obama's name is in the title because Obama socializes with people like Ayers. It's called politics.

But I am not pissed off. In fact this group of pacifists are quite amusing.

So you don't want people to use name calling, but you call me an old goat?

Hahaha.

Your logic sucks. Plus, I am not much older than you. You are coming up this way pretty fast buddy. Faster than you realize.

So you're trying to paint Obama as a terrorist or some evil person because he conversed with someone that committed despicable acts when he was 8 years old? They served on a committee that "disbursed grants to schools and raised private matching funds" and "an anti-poverty foundation." You're drawing more from this than there is. Move along now.

Obama's circle of friends sum up the kind of person he is. His preachers are a bunch of nuts. This Weatherman Terrorist is a Traitor to his country.

To Me Obama is more of a cartoon character than a leader. So is Bush, Clinton and the rest. Biden makes up information as he goes along, Palin is a hockey mom that wants the 9 million cracks who voted for Hillary to vote for her.

hahahahaha.

Our country is run by idiots.
