Never really thought about the problem until recently since I'm in a new area, but now that I help take care of a few of my younger cousins It's got me thinking.
Where will your kids/ younger sibling/ younger cousin/ et cetera; be on all hallows eve? I remember as a child, carefree as a...well... a child, enjoying the long walks at night with friends trolling for candy, or egging the people who gave out apples and TP'ing the people who had no candy-- without having to worry about freaks or anything.
Then as the years passed, hoaxes emerged such as razor blades in the Reese's cups or even haunted house unwanted encounters that caused mass hysteria among the parents of my peers (mine really weren't all to concerned about it), but that died down and that's as bad as it ever got.
I know there are a lot of older people on this site who can remember an even more carefree time, so even this should strike a match... Pretty soon Halloween will get so extreme that it might even get banned in some areas (before the Vatican ever gets their chance lol) and that would just gimp america even more... or maybe I'm reading to much into this.
My main point to all of this is: Even though the majority of us will be getting smashed, before aforementioned children go out, maybe talk to them a little more about safety? You're probably thinking, "No shit, common sense," and whatnot, but really, how often do kids really listen? They should have fun, yes, but they shouldn't have to be scarred in the process.
It's time like these that make me wonder why the government doesn't just consider pedophilia a capital crime and just give them all the friggin' needle since there is no sure-thing rehab for them. Depo shots, rehab, etc.; none of it works, I know this for a fact by reading the unbiased numbers produced by surveys and official releases...yeah I'm heading into a rant so I'm cutting myself off here.
ANYWAY. That's enough out of Dwayne's mind.
Feel free to respond in whatever manner you see fit.

psh, but some of thoose grls are just "asking" to get for it.
you wouldnt go flouncing around in a barely-there skirt any other night?
why use this one as an excuse??
there's tons of cute,less-trashy costumes they could wear.
to wear them to a party is one thing, but on the streets at night is totally different.
I wouldn't say that anyone deserves to be molested/raped by any means, but they defintely should take these things into account before choosing their costumes
Because wearing them at a party isn't "asking to get it". How is that any different than wearing them on Halloween?
I'm sure they do take it into account. But they chose their costume because they obviously want attention, but they're not saying "I'm going to wear this tonight so a creepy man/woman will rape me. That'll be superrr fun"
well i know that.
it's just a phrase i use entirely too much.
sry for the misrepresentation of my opinions.
but what i was saying when i said parties was that if they were to wear something like that to a "halloween" party, it's different.
im not "o-k'ing" anything; i'm not downing anything.
im just saying that it's definitely different frm running the streets in an outfit like that.
if the point is to be cute, there's plenty they could be. im not sayin everyone needs to be nuns this halloween.
but like you said, i think wearing stuff like that, theyre just lookin for attention.
some just happen to get unwanted attention.

Me: Nice try, but no.

Me: A FROG!!!

Her: A frog?
Me: I lied about the wheels.

And even if someone dressed as a nun, they still have a chance of getting themselves into a bad situation. It doesn't matter if you're running down the streets naked, or if you're fully dressed inside of your own bedroom. If someone has it set in their mind ( you know what i'm talking about), then they're going to do it anyways.
Anyways, this is getting way off-topic. It's whatever. People just need to go out in large groups and watch out for eachother.

There is rehab for pedo's? Wouldn't that just make them worse? The second they see that little toddler walking, and they just spring up and be hornier than ever.
