When I lived in SoCal the rents used to never let me eat any of the candy until they inspected it. Now where I live. I know every single person that I would trick or treat from. I usually work an indoor halloween carnival for little kids though in a neighboring town. Its designed for the simple fact that parents wont have to worry about their little kids safety.

Yeah, that's where I used to live. SoCal. I remember taking my pillow cases of candy through an xray machine lol

In defense to sex offenders as horrible as I may seem:

Pedophilia is classified as a mental disease. Anti-depressants have been prescribed to "out" (but mostly controlled) pedophiles and they seem to make suppressing the urges easier. Don't say that people can't change because a lot of pedos really want to; the problem is that they can't bring it onto themselves to start the change and it's people like you who doubt they can do it from the very beginning that makes them give up.

I'm not condoning any illegal acts - this mental disease shouldn't qualify them for TOO much leeway and sympathy (but it's not like they get that much jail time usually anyway).

jesus was born on easter and gunned down on christmas eve for outstanding debts in gold and spices.

and its a perfect way to spend tax dollars. how else would you spend it except on chemical weapons to destroy 3ed world countrys? the public education system? fuck that most drop out or go to college and do nothing with their lives. i think girls should be hand picked freshmen yr and spend the next 4 yrs working on stripping and poledancing so once their 18 they can do the world some good. all the fat girls learn to cook and clean

I will possibly find you an article soon (will take some time, don't know how motivated I am) about research done showing positive response to anti-depressants.

I'm a bit appalled that you believe in capital punishment for people with issues, as horrible as they may be. Even murderers do not receive the death sentence in many states because it's outlawed - what makes you think that something as irrevocable as death is right for these people? Who are you to decide when one is to die, even?

Because I don't believe in the death sentence, I think it would be more constructive to attempt a search for a "cure," I guess we could call it, other than keeping them pent up (and probably severely harassed) for the rest of their lives. I'm not exactly sure how much either costs, but I'm sure the costs are not exactly relative to the outcome.

C'mon man, think about it. You're simply reacting, which I totally understand. Nothing gets me more than the loss/torture of innocent lives, but there are going to be some necessary sacrifices (i.e. partial freedom for pedos during research) in order to advantage the greater good.
