On a purely humanistic level, another person got elected. The only thing one should be looking at is psychology. Does Barack Obama have what it takes to handle running a country? Nothing else fucking matters.

Were one to look at race, even for a second, the key is that this election is ushering in a new (and long overdue) era in which those of African descent (or even any other region that lends itself to such skin pigmentations) are being given the rights and priveleges they've deserved all along. Continually making these jokes simply sets us back, yet again, to the points in time in which their references were relevant world issues (slavery being a main one).
