So we were eating in Ruby Tuesdays tonight and this chick who used to be this snobby ass cheerleader who was always a cunt to everyone was actually a waitress.
It really made me laugh because she wasn't going to get a tip from me.
And the though of someone who thought they were sooo amazing will probably be stuck in this shit ass town being a waitress the rest of their life.


Any stories of people you know like this?

There are quite a few who changed quite drastically from high school, that's for sure. Most of the "stuck in this small town" stories were pretty predictable, though.

I never not tip. I work in a restaurant, in various positions. When you're serving, you make minimum wage, and rely on your tips to give you the rest of your wage. And you STILL have to tip out the hostess/manager/kitchen/bartenders when people don't leave a tip. It really makes a big difference in just getting by or being able to go out that weekend in most servers' lives.

I tip just because I like giving my money away to people who actually work. Obviously I don't want it, I like to make it hard for me to get by...

Oh no, trust me, I'll give $10-$15 dollar tips especially when the employee is working the 3rd shift.
But you earn your money, if you don't give a shit and are a cunt, I wont give a shit and will pay you the same gratitude.
