Rules for members:
1. Respect the forum mods. They volunteer their time to help make the forums a fun place for everyone.
2. Post in the appropriate forum. Everything does not belong in General. Topics will be moved by myself or the forum moderators.
3. Links posted by the site owner to their own commercial sites are not allowed on the forums or in messages without prior authorisation.
4. No topic, or post, may contain or link to anything not suitable for people under the age of 18. This includes, but is not limited to, nudity or sexual content.
5. No topic, or post, may contain or link to illegal activities, thoughts, or ideas, including (but not limited tO )#1 warez, phreaking, "hacking", tweaking, etc.
6. No topic, or post, may be made with the explicit intent of singling out another member of this website in a slanderous, hateful, or racist manner.
7. Harassment, heckling, stalking, or taunting another member in the forums will not be tolerated.
8. Threads must be made with the intent of discussing a specific topic. "Random" subject matter, or the creation of a thread simply for the initiation of conversation is not allowed. These threads may be locked or deleted without notice at the discretion of the forum moderators.
9. All rules stated in the User Agreement ( http://www.showmypro.com/useragreement.php ) are applicable in the forums.
Rules for mods:
1. Be courteous to ALL members. You represent this website, and should set a good example.
2. Be nuetral. Do not take sides in arguments.
3. You may not delete another moderators post or topic.
4. Respect other moderators opinions in locking, deleting, moving, or other administrative functions. They are not wrong, they just have a different opinion than yours.
5. The rules for members apply to you as well.
6. If you have any problems with a member (or another moderator), take it to private messages, do not engage in any "fighting" in the forums.
7. Be helpful, and available, to those who may need help in the forums.
8. Rules for moderation:
A) Delete topics that are started that break any of the forum rules, before they have a chance to get started.
B) Lock topics that are clearly off topic or have downgraded to useless bickering between members.
C) Delete posts that have nothing to do with the topic, but is an insult toward another member.
D) These rules are not set in stone. Any thing else you feel that is necessary, and is for the good of the site, is applicable. Use your best judgement in determining your administrating.
